The “Site Details” page gives a description of the contents of the site, and also details of how to navigate around for first time visitors and incase anyone should get confused or lost !
The “Guest Map” page is pretty self explanatory. You can place marker on a map of the world to show us where you come from, and also add comments. This service is operated by Bravenet.com I think it is a bit more fun than a guest book.
The “Site News” page, is where we record updates to the site, new pages and stuff like that.

Site History.
The Tumbly Down Cottage website was first created way back in 1999. A counter was first added to the site near the end of 2001. It has been redesigned a few times over the years, and this version is version 5. There are currently two counters on the “Index / Welcome” page. The Bravenet counter was added first in 2001 unfortunately it requires that you accept a cookie. I am not a fan of cookies, but at least this one is very harmless. You can see for yourself what info it gets by clicking on the bravenet counter and viewing the info about this site, how many visitors we have had per day, per week, also, what operative systems and browsers were used by the visitors. The second counter was added in August 2008 when this version was put on the net, and records the number of visitors to this version of the website.
